Why so bad about the bolts?

You'll be damn funny. No, the included screws don't fit the Ninja 400, but would you still use those crappy mounts? Be thankful you had the opportunity to upgrade to a grade 10 or 12 bolt if you were smart enough to do so. If not, fine. You're probably going to throw your bike off the stand anyway. They cost $18. I'm only taking off a star because I was annoyed with the quality of the screw that came with it. The coils work fine.
