We are solving many problems with our micfo platform including but not limited to email archiving/retention management for compliance & governance purposes as well as providing full lifecycle archive support for all mailboxes - retention rules included. This service has been very valuable in helping us meet these requirements along with other benefits we have realized such as cost savings from reduced storage usage. The integration process can be somewhat time consuming depending upon your team's experience level. However there does exist some out of box connectors available which make this task quicker than expected once you know where they should go! If using a third party connector it will likely take longer due to lack of expertise by those who create them (or perhaps just different versioning).
