These shoes are different from ones I've had in the past, but they're the closest thing to a pair of moccasins I had years ago. They are light, flexible and fit perfectly around my feet. They are easy to put on and a side zip seems to be enough over the last three months of use to ensure a snug and comfortable full leg fit. If I had a preference I would have preferred the sole to be a bit thicker, but I suspect this has more to do with my feet than others. Over the years my feet have developed a few issues and become a bit more sensitive on the bottom, so harder uneven surfaces like gravel or rough concrete tend to impart sensitivity. However, the soft suppleness of the upper of these shoes generally keeps my feet comfortable, unlike other traditional hard leather shoes. I like the value for money and I can only recommend it.
