Received this stand for my 15.6 inch laptop. The stand is made of aluminum. Net weight is 1.45 kg (2.2 lbs). =10", H=2". Pretty light and adjustable in angle and height. There's a hex wrench in the box, but there's not a word about it in the owner's manual. . After researching, I found that it is used to loosen the mounting screws to easily adjust the angle of the top platform and middle leg. The middle leg can also be adjusted in length. The top platform is not long enough for my 15.6 inch laptop. As you can see from the photo, the laptop has become longer. To improve ventilation and reduce laptop overheating, I glued extra legs, now the laptop doesn't stand on them. The gap between the bottom of the laptop and the top deck is approximately 0.1 inch (2.5 mm). Cutouts on the top platform prevent access to the vents on the bottom of the laptop. It would be better if the cutouts were longer and the top deck could adjust the length by itself. The owner's manual says a working load of 22 lbs (10 kg). I decided to check this number. 22 lbs and the stand couldn't handle that much weight. It may be possible to find the right platform angle to keep the stand from falling, but I didn't spend time researching some additional transformations.
