Review on πŸ’§ Watts Premier H2O DWCB100 Capacity Filtration: Optimal Water Purification Solution by Peter Nobles

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I can only recommend this filter!

We've wanted to install a permanent water filter on our kitchen sink for a long time and this water seemed just what we needed. After my husband installed it he had a lot to say about it and I hope I live up to what he said in this review. In summary, if you don't want to read everything, he's very impressed with this filter. He finds it has a great flow rate and is easy to install. OK, let's go. He said the installation was very easy and only took about 10 minutes after picking up the tools. Aside from a pair of adjustable wrenches, all he needed was a screwdriver and a 1/16" bit to drill pilot holes to keep the wood from splitting, and a very sharp, thin knife, like a utility knife, to cut the pipe to size . Oh, he also said that this unit is a little bigger than he saw. According to him, "With a thick steel bracket, the system module is impressively durable. The wooden case will shatter before the bracket flexes." He also tested the flow rate with and without it (he's an engineer so he tends to do a lot of things when he's installing something). Without them it was 1.45 gpm and 1.05s. It doesn't seem to have a built-in shut-off valve. If you need to change the filter, turn off the water, otherwise you will have big water problems. I myself can say with him that the water is delicious. We have the waters contains a lot of chlorine and you can't taste it with this filter. We will probably get more filters as my husband just loves this one and we have a few more places to use it. Highly recommend it!
