I have these rings on three different rings and each of them fits the width. If one was a little tight I just trimmed the ends until they fit. If you have large knuckles, I recommend putting the ring on first and then putting the ring guard on the smaller part of the finger. This keeps the ring from rotating on your finger. I don't really like the round tube calibrators that you wrap around the ring because I don't like the feel of the bulkiness and it shows in the palm of your hand. There aren't many of these in this set, but mostly they're nice guards of various widths. In the pictures I have 5 rings with 3 guards and they are barely visible.
