Review on Primula 2.7 Quart Pitcher with Instant Infuser by Jason Spainhour

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Stylish, functional, affordable

I'm not sure if this product should be in our kitchen or bar. Basically we have a giant cocktail maker that is sold as a device for brewing fruit drinks. At a bargain price you get a hefty 2-1/2 liter jug that fits in your fridge door. You also get a Flavor Core, Ice Core, and Stick. You use the aromatic core to add fruits and other foods in, and then melt (mix) them with a stick (make sure you put the core in the pitcher beforehand. After stirring a few times, all the good flavors should dissipate). seep into the surrounding liquid in the jug. That's it - except you can also freeze ice in an ice core and then dip it in a pitcher to quickly chill your drink - be careful when using an ice core as it's quite LARGE and can cause the Pitcher overflows if you don't allow its volume. It seems to be quite durable. It is easy to clean and can be washed in the dishwasher. I think most people will have to figure out if you want to dedicate a room to that. If you make a lot of fruit drinks, sangria and exotic cocktails, I think it's worth a very low price. We have a fairly spacious bar and this pitcher is perfect for carrying back and forth to the kitchen.
