When I first received this cable it worked very well. It charges at USB 3.0 speeds, maintains a solid connection with both the wall charger and the phone, and is very durable. After about 6 weeks, however, the weight and inflexibility of the nylon braid became an issue. If I adjusted the cable just a little bit or let it hang, it would begin to pull out of the phone to the point where one end of the cable would not charge at all. Since I was still able to use one end of the cable I wasn't overly concerned but it took about 2 more months before the same problem started to appear. I ended up just unplugging the cord from my bedside sleep charger as I won't be trying to use my phone and charge it at the same time. This gave me another 2 months of life, before that the cable wasn't charging at all. If this line was shorter than 6 feet, I think the nylon braid would work better. However, because the cable is so long, the weight of the braid degrades the quality of the USB-C connection over time. I know it's the cable as well because I don't have this issue with the original USB-C cable that came with my phone.
