Well done, offers fast charging and transfer, will buy another one

I haven't plugged it into anything to officially sync, but I've been using it to stream 4K video to my laptop and it enabled super-fast transmission. I also used it to fast charge my Note 8 and it provided fast charging. In both cases it worked great. There may be faster cables out there (on paper) but this one is faster than anything I've had before so I'm happy using myself and my past experience as a benchmark. The cable is very well made and not that hard. like other 3.1 cables I have which

Cons
  • Not sure

Doesn't really support 3.1.

As many have pointed out, this is actually not a 3.1 cable. This is a USB 2 cable with USB C connectors, which means it will not work with high-speed data transfer applications or high-speed charging. I bought it to use with an external GPU which it doesn't work with even though it says 3.1 in the description. This seller should be reported for misleading advertising.

Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

Nice build for a good price!

This is a really good cable! It's well built and works great for charging my Essential phone with the charger that came with my phone. I bought this cable because the one that came with my phone wasn't long enough. This one does the trick and looks like it should last a long time.

Cons
  • Only available in black

Better quality cables than my Google Pixel XL

Original review: March 24, 2018 The charging cables that came with my Google Pixel XL were fine, but part of the cable was always broken next to the fork. The design of these cables is better than Google's and the price is much lower. The only downside is that it charges a bit slower than a Google cable straight out of the box, but I can easily go from 5% battery to over 30% in 15 minutes of charging.

OK, not great. on Computer Accessories & Peripherals

This is a durable cable, but it cannot deliver the full charge rate of a 2018 MacBook Pro under load. Despite being connected to an 87W Apple charger, it only puts out 60W of power. This is not a problem for many devices. However, when working with professional photo/video applications or games, the cable does not cope with charging. If you don't, this cable is a pretty good deal.

So Dissatisfied - Cables and Connections

When I first received this in early December I willingly switched to this cable. But after comparing the charging speed between this and my regular USB-C/USB cable, I found that this cable was over 30% slower. Although I was annoyed by this, it wasn't worth returning so I kept using it as I'm not in a hurry and my Note 9 charges quickly right from the start. However, it has now been less than a month since I started using it daily (about 2-3 hours a day on average) and it has already died. No…

4 of them stopped charging the new 11 inch iPad Pro

. I bought 4 of these in December for myself and family members. They worked for about 2 months. In mid-February, an iPad sometimes started not charging. It took me a while to realize that this particular cable was unreliable. It works intermittently to charge the new 11-inch iPad Pro. Sometimes when it's not working it keeps making that noise when plugged in. Just like it sounds like there's pocket lint in the iPhone's relief port and it can't get good enough contacts to charge it constantly…

I like it, the cat hates it. The goal is reached.

I bought this because my house cat chewed through 2 of my other cables I bought from Apple. So far I like it and it works. Because of the braided material, she doesn't chew as much. If she chews it, she gets bored pretty quickly and gives up. The only problem is that sometimes it doesn't quite fit the charging port and I notice my laptop not charging. Once I push it all the way down, it comes back a little lightly, meaning it won't recharge. Which is to be expected given the cheapness of the…

Tried to get this working.

When I first received this cable it worked very well. It charges at USB 3.0 speeds, maintains a solid connection with both the wall charger and the phone, and is very durable. After about 6 weeks, however, the weight and inflexibility of the nylon braid became an issue. If I adjusted the cable just a little bit or let it hang, it would begin to pull out of the phone to the point where one end of the cable would not charge at all. Since I was still able to use one end of the cable I wasn't…

Worth the money, very durable and reliable.

I will probably regret once I post this, it will most likely be out of luck. But here comes. It was the most durable cable I've ever used. I've had it for several months without a single sign of a problem. The ends still connect flawlessly and are so secure that I can trust my 4 year old son to plug it in and not have to worry about it being connected to security. I've fallen asleep on it, stepped on it, yanked at my charging station in the ground with it, and done everything imaginable with it
