I bought this because my house cat chewed through 2 of my other cables I bought from Apple. So far I like it and it works. Because of the braided material, she doesn't chew as much. If she chews it, she gets bored pretty quickly and gives up. The only problem is that sometimes it doesn't quite fit the charging port and I notice my laptop not charging. Once I push it all the way down, it comes back a little lightly, meaning it won't recharge. Which is to be expected given the cheapness of the cable. In general I like it. Update: It's been almost a year and this charger isn't working. I ended up buying a new one. It keeps falling out and when I think it's loading, it's not. A little bit frustrating. If I want to use it, I have to hold it in the Mac's charging port.
