This headset really surprised me with its price. It was easy to unpack and all the parts were there, including an owner's manual with clear, if obvious, instructions. It was securely packed, the place does not rattle. I have a few minor issues, but I'll note them later. Likes: Sturdy construction. The cables are covered with a braided mesh that makes them strong and resistant to twisting and mishandling through which we pass the wires. Includes PC microphone/headphone adapter. The ear pads are soft and quite comfortable to the touch, covering my entire ear without putting any pressure on them. This eliminates issues with Califlow ears. I don't play very much, but they isolate without completely eliminating external noise. I can still hear my wife talking to me. Because they cover my ears, I get the full spectrum of sound without feeling like the sound is strained. When listening to films, I seem to experience a pleasant surround sound. The bass is very clear, as are the mids and highs. Very little external EQ was required for my taste. Microphone: Sensitive and delivers clear audio (so I'm told) when making calls from my PC. The built-in volume and mute controls are very responsive and not too far off the line. Cons: The headset is bulky and gets heavy after a while. The microphone is short. This isn't a problem for some, but I like it when my mic is in front of my mouth. However, this does not affect the reaction in any way. In fact, saying "P" helps eliminate the sudden air pressure. The microphone is detachable and can easily be lost. Also + or - may only be placed in one direction, otherwise you will not be heard. Highly recommended.
