Great if you don't shoot portraits
The surface area of the mount that connects to the camera is smaller than most mounts. So when I rotate the camera to take a portrait, the connection is not strong enough to prevent the camera from rotating down due to the weight of the lens (35mm). No matter how tight I tighten this connection, the camera slowly rotates towards the ground. This sucks because I bought 3 of these to replace all the ball head joints for different uses. I love being able to quickly move my camera or light from a tripod to a desktop stand. I just can't use it when shooting a portrait.
