Not perfect, but great for what I need it for.

I have a herniated disc in my lower back. Because of this, I can't lie without something below my knees when lying on my back, or between my knees when lying on my side. I've been using it for a year and 8 months now. What I really like is that it's firm enough to support the weight of my legs without flattening out, but soft enough not to cut off blood circulation in the legs. At the same time, the cover is quite rough to the touch, and quills appear on its surface after the first wash, increasing the roughness. big enough to give me the right height for my knees. To fix this I turn it on its side so the corner piece is facing my feet. Luckily it works great and is high enough to relieve my back. I was also surprised that the slanted top didn't greatly affect the feel of placing it between my knees when lying on my side. Also, its length when lying on its side allows for thigh support from knee to foot, for which I am again very grateful. All in all, this was a great purchase. I would definitely recommend it to anyone with back problems. It would be nice to see a deluxe version of this that has a memory foam outer layer as well as a softer finish that doesn't pill in the wash (would be nice to see this on the regular one too). **EDIT After writing the above I went back and read some of the other reviews. I noticed that a lot of people mentioned the chemical smell. I think the foam had an odor when I first got it, but it was never bad enough to disturb my sleep and my wife never mentioned it. So don't let the smell stop you from buying.
