Cool idea for attaching Velcro patches. Too many straps and clasps to open and close again. To open you need to undo 2 velcros on the front, open the top, undo 1 long/wide velcro and then 2 zippers. Too heavy! I don't know about you, but my dog doesn't have the patience for this and neither do I. That's 6 steps to open, 6 more steps to close! Why can't it just be a top zip like most backpacks? Or 1 Velcro for the flap cover and 1 zipper at the bottom. It's still more steps than I'd personally like, but I'd consider keeping it for what it is currently. The backpack is too small to pack. Also, the velcro was sewn badly on the inside, it was half brand new. All this seems very bulky and heavy for its small size. TL; DR - too many steps to just open and close. Too heavy/bulky.
