These LED bulbs are not designed for older cars. The reason is that older cars do not have a built-in reflector in the rotating beacon into which the lamp is inserted. This reflector reflects the light that is on the side of the LED bulb so it can be seen and used as intended. New cars have all kinds of reflectors and little optics built into the headlight housing to maximize the light visible to the outside. Although there may be many LEDs in this LED bulb, 80% of them are unsuitable for use in older cars without the additional reflectors and optics that older cars don't have.
