I have recently upgraded the LEDs on my cars and mopeds. The replacement revealed many issues with the LEDs such as cambus and resistor. Luckily, these LED bulbs worked great the first time! I love that they were PNP and are a 6000k color to match my new LED headlight. I checked the elements of the brakes and running lights. I am very happy with this update, quick and easy.

The LED bulbs were easy to install and very bright but you will definitely need the separately available terminators which are stated on the bulbs packaging once you You receive. I tried the headlights on my 1991 Jeep Wrangler YJ and they look beautiful. But as soon as I turned on the headlights, I found that my signal lights weren't working and would only work without the headlights on. I can only use a couple of lights at a time, which is why I went with the brake lights.

These LED bulbs are not designed for older cars. The reason is that older cars do not have a built-in reflector in the rotating beacon into which the lamp is inserted. This reflector reflects the light that is on the side of the LED bulb so it can be seen and used as intended. New cars have all kinds of reflectors and little optics built into the headlight housing to maximize the light visible to the outside. If your factory tail/brake lights originally used white LED bulbs, these can be replaced. But if they used white incandescent bulbs (or even red LEDs), I would NOT recommend them. Because incandescent bulbs and LEDs produce different spectra (i.e. not all "white” light is the same), standard lenses with a different type of bulb may not produce the desired color, i.e. a red filter does not guarantee red light.
