I was looking for a way to brighten my classic car headlights for safety reasons. I have tried several 1157 style LED bulbs and so far they have either been dimmer than the old incandescent bulbs or the brake/turn signal light has not gotten any brighter. Both are unfortunate for me and either end up in the garbage or come back. I installed them on my 1979 F250 last night and was impressed. They are much brighter than incandescent AND the brake/spin works! Wonderful. As I only installed last night I can't give a rating on durability but I'll come back later and report back.
