Really cleans without getting the carpet too wet. I'm sure it probably contains chemicals that I wouldn't want in my house if I look closely, but I'm willing to look past it because I can't do without this product and homemade recipes are dry carpet shampoo just doesn't work. work just as well. A bit like Mr. Clean Magic Eraser and Windex work best without leaving smudges or streaks. I'm not a very hardworking housewife (lots of other things to do in my time) so I use a few things that just save more time/energy and are worth any attention we get. Definitely two thumbs up for Kirby Allergen Control Formula Foaming Carpet Shampoo.
