Review on Easily Locate AC Circuit Breakers & Test GFCI Outlets with Klein Tools ET310 by Tyler Blake

Revainrating 1 out of 5

I needed this to work.

With a house that has been renovated many times and electricians who just marked switches with a sharpie (corrections by scraping paint and sharpie from box) I really wanted and needed this for work. I followed the instructions and every video I could watch on the device. I restarted the unit as instructed but it kept coming back to my kitchen as the only breaker it could detect no matter what direction I started from or how many passes it just couldn't "detect" anything other than that breaker ". There's a dimmer in there, so maybe it's off the dimmer or something else in the kitchen is having issues. I don't know exactly how it works to "transmit" a signal. Turning off the switch in my kitchen sometimes found that the other switches were fine, but I can't keep turning my fridge off to map this house. It must be returned. Too bad because it was the top rated customer. I'm sure this might work for some people. Not me. I wanted to support an American company but it looks like I still have to buy British and German instruments.
