Voltage testers are worth the money

I was skeptical about this tester. I trust names like Fluke or Klien. However, this seems to work just as well. I like that it has an LED to let you know it's on.

Pros
  • Sleek and modern design
Cons
  • There are flaws

Works well - Tester

This tool works well. I like the flashlight on it. I thought the light was silly but I use it all the time when I'm working and testing wires and circuits.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Excellent product, simple and clear

I have several contactless testers but the ease of use is evident. It tells you when it's on and running. It is ideal for beginners and is accurate. I will be adding this to my 16 year old son's tool box and buying another one for my nephew. Five stars 🌟

Pros
  • delivery was very fast
Cons
  • zero

Great tool, best of all voltage testers

I was looking for a tester to troubleshoot my festival lights when a blown bulb breaks the entire circuit. Prior to this product I bought another that worked fine but didn't tell me hot and cold wire as recommended. This product I found is comparatively better, with good documentation compared to a site and works as expected/mentioned. I recommend this product and advise against buying other similar products.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Secret

Better than "f* "#e "

Works very well, I like the active/working green light showing it as on/active Adding a marketing marker afterwards, think the cheapest low quality led flashlight possible but still it comes in handy more than once so yes it can throw some light when needed so I think it's proof everything is very good sensitive and it's 0 had wrong readings compared to a more expensive yellow brand that misread several times and gave me minor electric shocks, this is the one i go to to confirm iv has tripped…

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Not sure

A little too sensitive

This tester works pretty well, but it's a little TOO sensitive. the air 4-6 inches away was "hot". There is a flashlight on one end, which is very useful. Although sensitive, it's a decent instrument and well built. I've dropped it a few times from 8 feet or so onto laminate flooring, concrete, wood, etc. with no breakage or damage. If there was a way to lower the sensitivity it would be a solid five. Always turn off the circuit when working on it. This will let you know if there is power…

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

The first device did not work properly - the replacement device works fine.

The first device did not work as described. It won't turn on unless you press and hold the power button for a few seconds. 2 seconds should be in low voltage mode but there is no amber LED. There is no sound signal. It was almost impossible to open the battery compartment by pressing the latch, it's so tight - it had to put a screwdriver in the slot. Let's return it and see if the replacement works. Update: The plugin works as expected; 4 stars out of 1. The quality control on these devices…

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • I say nothing

Too sensitive

This tester works quite well but is too sensitive. ". It has a flashlight on one end, which is very handy. While delicate, it's a decent tool and well built. I've shot it several times from about 8 feet on laminate, concrete, wood, etc. dropping. , and no breakage or damage. If there was a way to reduce sensitivity it would be a solid A. Always remove power to the circuit when working on this, this will let you know if there is current in the near is.

Pros
  • Color LED indicators and beeper function; the luminous tip is clearly visible; Flashlight function
Cons
  • Replacement availability

disappointing average

Main reason I wanted it was a low sensitivity setting at 100V, the lowest I've seen before was 90V, but at low sensitivity this thing lights up and powers all over the control box it useless. for troubleshooting, and it's almost pointless to have different sensitivity settings when the lowest one lights up next to something. Then the flashlight is on the back of the pen so it doesn't illuminate what you point the probe at. acceptable for a flashlight, but when it's pointing in the opposite…

Pros
  • Compact pen design fits easily in a pocket or tool belt; Backlit LCD
Cons
  • So far so good
