I used to get cheap 12v single-color strips from the local auto parts chains, this kit is better by every possible metric. These LED strips are very robust, the modular harnesses mean you only need to solder/crimp the power leads, and I've never had the included 3M adhesive fail with the adhesion promoter. Plenty of color options, lots of cool modes, all configurable with a simple remote control. The extension cables are plenty long to reach both front and rear seats, with the control box mounted under the center console. I'd highly recommend cable ties and mounts to secure the field wiring and the excess cables - you'll get rattling under the plastic trim if you don't.I've installed multiple kits over the last few years and only once did I have an issue - shortly after installing a kit in my new car, 1 of the 4 output harnesses stopped working on the blue color. I contacted the seller, who was extremely quick to send a new control box, which fixed the problem.
