Background: I used another charger I bought after my original Dell charger stopped working. The second one somehow worked: it kept my laptop powered and not draining the battery, but stopped charging it. If I was ever unplugged, the battery would work, but the charge percentage would drop. Then when I reconnected, the charger kept it right there on that %. Whenever I had to reboot, the laptop would freeze and display a message saying it couldn't detect the charger power supply. I clicked next and it loaded, but it was frustrating. Well this one I got a few weeks ago works great and doesn't have these issues. It charges the battery to 100%, doesn't give any error messages while charging, doesn't feel overly warm, and the "brick" part is a reasonable size and weight. Very satisfied, worth the money. Oh my laptop is a Dell Inspiron 15-3552 bought in June 2017.
