After a life of science I bought a 500ml graduated cylinder to mix gasoline and oil for two stroke engines like weed trimmers, chainsaws and brush cutters. When I mix 1:50 oil:petrol it's very accurate, no more erratic performance from hard starts and dirty spark plugs. I mix just enough to last a couple of weeks. It is also more cost effective in the long run compared to buying a premix. Unless I break the exhaust cylinder. It may be an overstatement, but I will never have performance problems due to an inaccurate mixture of gas and oil.
