Now I have 4 of these and use them all at once on a crib mattress. I put them on like a mattress pad, a sheet, repeat. This allows me to easily remove the top set if my granddaughter's diaper leaks. This is a time-saving system that I used on my own children decades ago. There is nothing worse than waking up in the middle of the night to a crying baby lying on a wet/dirty sheet. Sleep is important for everyone involved, so saving time by having clean sheets under dirty sheets is life-saving. I chose this particular waterproof set because it is machine washable, waterproof and breathable. I have a breathable mattress so the idea of a breathable protective pad seemed like a great idea.
