Review on 🔸 Yellow Plano 771000 Power Tool Box with Lift-Out Tray, 19-inch by Jason Spainhour

The 19" length specification is a bit misleading. I bought it for 18" long tools and they have to go in diagonally. The external dimension is 19 inches. The usable space inside is only 17 inches, so the stated size is a bit misleading. Plano makes good products and I have many of their other toolboxes. I liked the price, I expected the sizing to be correct and was disappointed. I will find another use for the toolbox but I can't use it for what I bought it for. I will end up with another brand that has better measurements. Complaints/claims about other aspects of the design are valid: The holes in the handle let moisture, sawdust and dirt through. The lack of compartments on the outside of the lid is a good thing, the inner shell is large and easy to remove/replace. It's strong enough for medium-duty tools. The lid latches engage with a positive click. I just want it to fit 18 inch tools.
