Installation is fairly technical and involved, but the instructions are very good, and the company took pains to approach it from multiple directions. For technical folks like me, the information is superb. And because of how they present the details in a couple different ways, I think the instructions are also very accessible to folks who are less technical, less familiar with plumbing, etc. I was impressed.It has worked perfect from the first time I used it.The booster pump is extremely quiet. I'm still not sure I've actually heard it. The sound of water flowing through the tubing makes more noise than the pump.The unit will not run unless the pump has power. This is something I wondered about, whether it would still run but have less boost; it doesn't. I'm not sure if it would be simple to reconfigure it so it doesn't need the pump; might need to change the pressure switch, etc.
