The first thing to know about your vacuum cleaner is that it's not battery powered. It has a very long car style 12 volt end. The cord is quite long so you could use it in a car scenario if it didn't draw so much power! You absolutely cannot use it on a car unless you have a very strong 12V power supply. I don't recommend any of that. I literally had to buy a 12v power adapter to use this vacuum for everything in my house. Otherwise the power supply was interrupted. Luckily I tested it before putting it in the car because I'm pretty sure it will cause problems and blow the fuse. The brick I received is 120w and quite big. For the uninitiated, 120 watts at 12 volts means my unit is putting out a whopping 10 amps at 12 volts. A typical 15 amp circuit breaker in your home trips at 12.5 amps, which is the largest 120 volt space heaters you can buy for your home. are designed for 1500 W, which consumes no more than 1500/120 = 12.5 A. This vacuum cleaner has a power of 150 W, ie 12.5 amps at 12 V. Oh! If you want to draw 10-12.5 amps from your car battery for any period of time to run your vacuum, you can. That's too much power. You'd better have a few spare fuses on hand if that's your plan. I'd rather just have a dirty car, or better yet, get a better car vacuum. It's easy to clean and comes with all the accessories you'll need, but good luck if you find something that powers it. I figured I could run with a 65-watt 12V USB-C power supply and adapter, but the cleaner didn't even try to turn on with that setting. I'm done with this. It's no use because I'm so energy hungry and I already have a good vacuum cleaner when we get home. I can't give more than 2 stars due to lack of rating. The suction power is not bad but you will need to reconsider your purchase if you want this item for your car. Purchase at your own risk.
