Review on 🌬️ Vornado TRANSOM Window Fan - 4 Speeds, Remote Control, Reversible Exhaust Mode, Weather Resistant Case - White by Griselda Monclova

Very quiet, everything works fine. Where I live it gets chilly outside at night but the wind pretty much dies down so this was done to bring in cool air as simply opening the windows doesn't work. It looks a lot prettier and runs a lot quieter than cheap dual fan window units. However, it doesn't close, even though the instructions state it goes to the "CLOSED" position when you turn it off. I checked on Vornado nothing really closes, the fan is just off. That way, when it's not working, you can still see the outside light clearly and feel the wind blowing from the fan inside the unit. Vornado must remove the word "CLOSED" and include an insulating cover so you don't have to constantly remove the unit when you need to turn on the air conditioning/heating. At $99 and all the thick insulating foam cores that come with it, you'd think the device itself would have some sort of insulating function.
