The best window ventilator. in household fans

I used to always use two-fan units. In fact, it's a wide squirrel fan. You can leave it on your window and rest assured that it will let air through and remain weatherproof. This fan also makes your window soundproof, unlike traditional fans. The inserts provided were great and high quality for easy installation. It is an ideal window protection fan. After installation, attach blocks or screws to the upper window pane to prevent it from being lifted from the outside.

What a waste of money.

The fan would have been fine if not for a huge installation problem. How difficult it is to provide appropriate extensions. So disappointed in Vornado. I have 5 different Vornado fans and this one is a complete fiasco. The extension blocks are shorter than the fan itself. It can't be installed without the ridiculous gaps in the regular window. An image with instructions that comes with it and what it should look like after installation. You must come up with a better idea of how it works for a…

Exactly what we wanted

So we have a gas stove with no exhaust and a very sensitive fire alarm; At first I wanted this for the "exhaust" option, but I quickly found that it actually works best in recirculation (fan) mode, bringing fresh air from the outside in. The foam block is good, although admittedly I had to tweak it a bit to get them perfect. There is a review where someone is angry and shows the blocks about 2" below the fan (you can tell they installed the fan wrong. It was in front of the window, not in the…

Very quiet, everything works fine. Where I live it gets chilly outside at night but the wind pretty much dies down so this was done to bring in cool air as simply opening the windows doesn't work. It looks a lot prettier and runs a lot quieter than cheap dual fan window units. However, it doesn't close, even though the instructions state it goes to the "CLOSED" position when you turn it off. I checked on Vornado nothing really closes, the fan is just off. That way, when it's not working, you…

Very limited installation compatibility

My product review is more about window compatibility than product functionality. First off, I believe this product is designed for thick window frames with a 2" gap in a frame about 2" deep. The lack of a window grille is also a likely requirement for this product. It takes up most of the market. I was looking forward to it, but was disappointed. My window frames are patchy and 3/4 inch deep into the frame, as well as a window screen like all windows in my house. I also want to mount it…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

The quiet and short fan I was looking for. However, it does not match the window and the temperature is connected incorrectly. He also can't handle the wind blowing on him. First the fit. My window has a 3/8" protective layer at the bottom of the window so the foam blocks that came with it don't fit and leave big gaps. There are 2 reasons. First, it's a protective layer, she shortens them every 3/8 inch so they fall backwards into the window. Second, since the inside of the window isn't a…

Best window fan I've ever owned

Love this fan! Has remote control, 4 speeds, temperature control. Fairly quiet and closes back when off so air doesn't get in. It's not like traditional double bladed window fans. It works like 1. It's either inlet or outlet. When it's off, it helps get rid of most of the noise. Almost like closing a window. Definitely recommend this product. Especially if you are disabled (like me) and cannot get up to close the window due to rain, snow etc. This seal closes fairly well and is very quiet…

Beautiful semi-permanent design, easy installation, efficiency, HUMS

The form factor of this fan far exceeds typical window fans on the market. much more compact, fits better and looks "more durable" after installation. The window covering system works surprisingly well (at least if it works at all) and *works* with the screen, but will most likely at least bump into it. probably more like air than it really is. The mechanism for switching between intake and exhaust is quite nifty and fun. When it comes to noise, it's hard to judge. I think because of the "fan"…

Vornado can do it better

The IDEA of this fan is great, but the execution leaves a lot to be desired. Solid fan, heavy. A nice soft piece of styrofoam on top of the fan where the sash will sit (IF YOU CAN GET A FAN THAT STAYS ON TOP). Invoice. However, Styrofoam blocks, which are intended to fill gaps on both sides of the vent to ensure the necessary airtightness for windows of different widths, are not suitable for children's building blocks that do not hold securely in the window and have no way (sticky monkey or…
