Review on 🔪 BeaverCraft Stropping Sharpening Compound with Polishing Abilities by Peris Auditore

This knife was recommended to me over more expensive options by a friend. I am constantly changing the selection of knives I use daily for a trivial task. Opening boxes, opening letters, cutting plastic on boxes of grocery bills, random cooking like cutting offal/sandwiches/pizza, cutting rope and depending on a knife, stripping wires, etc. I didn't have to sound to be terribly sharp become point where the slightest contact with the blade led to Yabitsume. But I needed something that could sharpen steel harder than VG-10 around the M390 range. I also didn't want to spend hours sharpening a single blade. After all, with 25 blades in my blade collection, I didn't want to spend a lot of time learning the art of sharpening. It's not that there's anything wrong with it, it's just that I feel like I don't need to know. Just by reading the instructions and watching the video on the Syderco website, my first try turned out to be exactly what I was looking for. Subsequent attempts got even better, to the point where they were too harsh. Harder steels require a little more effort and add 2-3 minutes to the process. If I develop a feeling in myself now, I can tell when each stone is ready. And it lasts less than the average song length of 4-5 minutes. The before and after photos above are on a Böker Plus VG-10 blade at about 1000x magnification (a pen fills half of this image for perception). . And this is one of my first attempts at using ONLY the included gems. I don't need anything else, IMHO. Petty as it sounds, I took off a star for the theft-proof packaging, which is ironic considering I didn't have a blade sharp enough to get to a knife sharpener. I didn't pay enough attention and carved the instructions pretty well. Highly recommend this product.
