A secure hockey puck lock that secures the back of my cap. Featuring a latch with hidden screws, this lock gets the job done. You should buy the end cap separately at the hardware store and know what you are getting. The purpose is to answer someone's question about the size of the lock body opening. The lock looks "corroded" but let me be clear what it is. I put enough engine oil in the lock (and in the lock mechanism to ensure it doesn't freeze in winter). The lock protects the "closet" or "cabin" that in Connecticut must be outside year-round. So what you're seeing is a mixture of an oil coating that I applied on purpose and some dirt and dust. No material defect.
