I have a very active 2.5 year old boy. Teaching him, or at least allowing him to appreciate what he knows, has been a challenge. When I first got them he loved taking them apart and then I showed him how to find the right colors - putting them together etc. Immediately after that he started matching colors and putting them together. They are easy to separate for small hands and just as easy to put together. After matching them all, he was ready to take them apart and start over! I'll happily move on to numbers once I know he's mastered all of his colors. Looking at the pictures I was also concerned that the seeds were scattered but they are actually attached and very secure. So far I am very satisfied with this product.
