Great monitor for an old Mac

I use Logic to record music and need more screen real estate for all the windows I need to open. This article is perfect for that. I have a 2012 MacBook Pro and the highest resolution it can afford is what this monitor likes. Without a mini display port to a regular display port, the best it could do would be 1080 (which actually looked pretty good with a mini display to cdmi adapter), but once I got a mini display port Got a regular display port ($10), I have high resolution and it's great. (I had to reboot for it to work, but now it's great!). Nice screen, looks great with movies and photos. Not 4k but the best I can do with this computer. Moreover, it comes with a multi small screen split screen software which is very easy to use and works great. Great for logic. It's also insanely cheap for what you get. I recommend.

Pros
  • Dynamic Action Sync helps reduce input lag so you can quickly respond to on-screen actions. Black Stabilizer dynamically brightens dark scenes to help you find enemies in the dark
Cons
  • The monitor is difficult to set up.
