*****UPDATE******* Unfortunately, the light only stays a little bright for a few seconds and then dims completely. Instead, I have to use a cell phone flashlight. Nice mirror, great buy BUT here are some things to consider if you are considering buying: The mirror does not come with AAA batteries (4 required). DO NOT drill holes. on the wall until you are 100% sure you are mounting the faceplate correctly. My husband and I spent about an hour figuring out how to mount the mirror and drilled several holes in the wall. (The instructions that came in the box were 3 small pictures. Nothing helps) We finally found better instructions online and were able to install the mirror. The drywall stands were very small, so we ended up using our own. Overall though, the mirror is beautiful and the lighting is great!
