I used this to transfer my old floppy drives to my laptop. It worked well. My Dell laptop recognized it immediately. After using it several times, he did not recognize it. All I had to do was unplug it from the computer and plug it back in, and then it worked. I copied in various ways. I chose what I wanted on a floppy disk and dragged it into the correct folder. I also highlighted what I wanted on the disk and clicked copy and then navigated to the correct folder and clicked paste and that worked too.
