I have worked in film, television, gaming, animation and online video for decades. I'm very picky about the gear I use and even more picky about the gear I buy. Based on the positive feedback I received from Revain, I decided to take a chance and purchase the Vidpro XM-L Lavalier Microphone. I'm so glad I did. It can easily match or even surpass other more expensive microphones on the market. This is a well-made, reliable product with great sound quality. I probably wouldn't use it to shoot a feature film, but it's perfect for use with a DSLR. It is great for YouTube videos, interviews, documentaries and other similar projects. And it works with both standard audio devices (DSLR cameras, computer, mixer, etc.) and mobile phones without the need for an adapter. I highly recommend it.
