It’s a pleasure to use this transmitter

It’s a very nice transmitter and you can use it with programable SAFE receivers, Spektrum smar631, smar630 and smar637T ( Telemetry ). Lots of programable switches and settings for any RC flying model. I used youtube videos to lean how to configure it. I use brand name eneloop rechargeable AA batteries. The reachable batteries last 1-2 weeks before I have to recharge them again. I replaced my old transmitter and this one. It’s so much nicer and handles my multiple RC airplanes perfectly. I…

Pros
  • A little complicated but not impossible to figure out I am very happy.
Cons
  • While the transmitter boasts a wireless trainer link, it is not compatible with all types of receivers, limiting its versatility

BACK-LIT LED DISPLAY FLICKERS HORRIBLY!

Display screen "flickers" horribly, and at first I thought it might just be an isolated incident, until I searched the internet and found a number of folks, including videos of their display screen "flickering", and their problem is IDENTICAL to what my DX6e is doing. ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE.

Pros
  • All ill need for all my planes and helis.
Cons
  • Just so so

Pricey junk DX models are hit and miss

You will have to update the firmware when you first get it (which is easier said then done, first you need a sd card that is formatted to work with spectrum ) before you can even use AS3X (stabilization) ,safe mode etc etc . For the price you pay it should come at least updated with the firmware and a sd card . You will burn through AA batteries every couple of hours . You might have good luck and get a better one but this is my second one in less than a year both ended up in the trash , I just

Pros
  • I am new to the hobby and this controller works great for me. Easy to use.
Cons
  • The telemetry system can be difficult to understand and read, leaving you with little information about the status of your RC vehicle or aircraft

Sophisticated Radio for beginners

Great receiver with loads of features that allows the rookie RC pilot to grow into more sophisticated planes without the expense of purchasing new electronics. Spektrum does a good job of providing videos to get you started as well as move to the next level. The written documentation provided with the transmitter gets you started. For those willing to spend the dollars on this radio you would be well served by connecting with your local flying club for hands on help after reading through the…

Pros
  • Easy to use. Should have done quicker
Cons
  • The control sticks on the transmitter are not as precise as other models, making it more challenging to maneuver your RC vehicle or aircraft with precision

Good quality radio for the price

This radio is great to use for a beginner not too hard to figure out how to operate and it was a very good radio for the price you can't beat it it's very easy to use

Pros
  • Super great product, delivered in record time, Amazing!
Cons
  • The DSMX technology can be prone to interference from other wireless devices in your vicinity, leading to potential safety hazards

You just can't find anything bad about this radio! Simple to use, jam- packed with features and technology that are leading the industry! You can program and store up to 250 models - eliminating the cost and hassle of having to have a radio for each aircraft! There are enough aux channels/switches to handle retracts, flaps, slats, etc. You can't go wrong!

Pros
  • Works well. Decent price.
Cons
  • The transmitter's range may be limited in certain environments, hindering your control over your RC vehicle or aircraft

Bought over a year ago one the best I have more than 5 planes set up works great with spectrum receivers others too no problem easy to program only difference is it don't have voice alarms.

Pros
  • Great starter transmitter with many options
Cons
  • The 6-channel DSMX 2.4GHz technology can sometimes experience signal problems, leading to a loss of control in your RC vehicle or aircraft

Great value on my review.

I love mine, had it since 2017, still works great. I even dropped it hard one, broke a toggle switch, but everything else was fine.

Pros
  • DIRECTIONS ARE VERY COMPCATED . HARD TO UNDER STAND HOW THE TATHERING WORKS.
Cons
  • The transmitter is not user-friendly for beginners, requiring extensive knowledge of RC technology to properly operate

good for my F16 70mm with no flaps.

Nice quality radio for my use as a beginner RC plane user. Had to watch you tube to learn some features and functions. Instructions and package is good.

Pros
  • Fast delivery, Auality of product
Cons
  • The lack of a receiver included in the package means additional expenses and research to find a compatible one

Decent remote, get a dx8 instead

Was great package and easy to setup but it’s definitely had some corners cut to make it otherwise it’s not bad for a beginning pilot

Pros
  • Nice looking radio and is very easy to use. It works great on my airplanes, thank you.
Cons
  • Spend a little more and get a better one this one the scroll wheel sucks

I'm learning. - my new review

It's a good transmitter. I'm learning and I haven't flew my airplane yet. Trying not to tear it up the first time. That's my feedback.

Pros
  • Always been a good TX.
Cons
  • The device's 250 model memory can easily become overwhelming and confusing if you have a large collection of RC vehicles or aircraft

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great, but worth the extra $ for the dx6.

This is a great receiver but getting the dx6 was worth the extra money, hind sight 20/20 I would've waited for the NX models.

Pros
  • I love it I can set up all my rc heli to it
Cons
  • The setup and programming process can be time-consuming and frustrating, especially if you encounter any technical problems along the way
