Review on Super Talent Pico-C Gold USB 2.0 Flash Drive, 4 GB: STU4GPCG by Michael Syph

Yes, fat is the best in computers and accessories

I've seen several comments about this device being thicker than a regular USB device. I decided to ignore her and give it a try anyway, but it turned out even thicker than I imagined. It was difficult to insert/remove into regular laptop. I won't even try it on my Mac for fear of damaging or bending the internal pins. It's fair to say that Mac USB ports can be flimsy compared to the USB specification, but the combination of being too thick and too thin can be very unfortunate. The Verbatim Tuff n' Tiny Disc is a little smaller, much thinner. and even much brighter. If you're willing to wade through some ugly packaging, this would be my alternative recommendation. After writing the first review I tried this on a MacBook Pro. Fits well but doesn't seem to cause any problems. Another positive note is that the slightly thicker case combined with the small guides around the edges help keep this drive in place. Tuff n' Tiny is extremely vulnerable to any movement, no matter how small, and can lose contact once installed, putting it at much greater risk of failure. Due to this update I am increasing my rating from 4 to 5 stars.
