In general, a good universal lens on the FF. Very sharp throughout the frame, starting from open F4.0. Covers most everyday tasks. At 120 mm, it separates the background very well even in full-length portraits (in full frame). Focuses quickly, accurately and quietly, even at dusk or in a dark room. Qualitatively and tightly assembled, gives the impression of a good thing. Although for this money they could collect in Japan. Here Canon 24-105 F4 is close in price, but Japanese. With manual focusing, the free (idle) movement of the focusing ring is very annoying - somewhere around 2-2.5 mm in both directions. I don’t know if this is a marriage, or a feature of all lenses of this model (many reviews write). But then this is a clear defect of the Nikon company, because it really interferes a lot, and it’s impossible to get used to it (I haven’t got used to it in 2.5 years). Also a relative minus - quite large and heavy. After a day of wearing with a FF carcass, the neck begins to fall off. But with such possibilities, there seems to be nothing easier.
