Review on 🌿 Moroccanoil Clarifying Shampoo: Discover Pure Hair Renewal by Sheryl Stewart

I purchased this shampoo and it arrived quickly and the bottle was vacuum packed well. I would describe the smell as "clinical". He's not pleasant at all. Despite the unpleasant smell, I used the shampoo on Monday morning. I washed once and didn't get much lather so I used a little more and washed again and then applied my regular conditioner. Once dry my hair was very dry, brittle and frizzy after using this shampoo even though I used my regular conditioner which always leaves my hair very soft and silky. Not this time. This wasn't enough to combat the dryness caused by this shampoo. It completely robbed me of my hair. (For the record, I'm a white female with long, dyed brown, 3a/3b curly hair and I don't use heat on my hair. I even air dry it). Again, I used this shampoo on a Monday. Now the story gets scary. I woke up today (3 days after using this shampoo) to find a dime BLACK spot sitting right in the middle of my hair about 1/2 inch past my hairline. THIS IS VERY WONDERFUL! I've never been bald in my life. My hair is not thinning and there is no male or female baldness in my family. So imagine my shock when there was a HOLE in my normally thick hair. The skin on my scalp is not inflamed or damaged in any way, and neither I nor anyone else has pulled my hair. My hair just disappeared. I don't blame this shampoo for my baldness, but that's the ONLY thing I've changed about my hair care routine in a year. It may just be a coincidence, but it's a very scary coincidence. I have an appointment with the doctor next week to rule out any medical issues and if I determine that it is indeed a medical issue I will change this review as I don't want to be unfair to this product. However, I felt I had to share this story as there is a possibility that this shampoo could be the culprit. I just want to save others from the heartache I'm feeling right now walking around with a big bald spot on my forehead.
