honestly I bought two models of QAF2 to replace two other Seimens QAF AFCI circuit breakers. The only difference is the onboard software that looks for arcing signatures and greater resistance to switched arcing. One of them is solid, and the other turns off at the slightest provocation, and sometimes without any changes in the circuit. I hooked up my oscilloscope to the circuit and looked for signs of arcing and never found it. And yet the switch worked. Given a 50% failure rate (excluding QAF failures) for Seimens I would look at other brands. Eaton, GE and others were much more reliable.
