Attention buyers! Delivery equipment does not match the pictures

Beware buyers. The switches supplied did not match the photos in the listing. The units listed have two indicator lights, one for AFI and one for ground (note these are not GFIs, just ground issues). The included switches have only 1 bulb for AFI. On the PST installations we found that the 1 light switches are faulty but the 2 light switches are not. Refund from us for false advertising.

Pros
  • Breakers, Load Centers and Fuses
Cons
  • Not as thick as other kits

Get the right replacement and be completely satisfied!

This is a direct replacement for the defective switch in the Siemens control box. None of the nearby stores had Siemens, and the prices for switches from another brand, AFCI, were very, very high. I ordered the right thing online, delivered very quickly, the price is about 65% lower than another store. 5-minute power replacement and power restoration, trouble-free operation for several weeks. I can't stress this enough: short trails tend to be twice as long, twice as high, and twice as bad. do…

QAF replaced with QAF2 circuit breaker -- Works as expected

My 5 year old Siemens QAF 20A circuit breaker has tripped repeatedly. Initially, after about a year of use, it started shutting down every few months. It's gotten worse lately, I stumble once a month. I couldn't find the QAF type anymore so I replaced it with the QAF2 type. I could only find little information about QAF2, but it seems to be an improved version of QAF. So far, so good. I wish the information was more accessible by "type". Hope this one lasts longer than the old one.

Pros
  • Arc Fault Circuit Breaker
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Reliability? electrical

honestly I bought two models of QAF2 to replace two other Seimens QAF AFCI circuit breakers. The only difference is the onboard software that looks for arcing signatures and greater resistance to switched arcing. One of them is solid, and the other turns off at the slightest provocation, and sometimes without any changes in the circuit. I hooked up my oscilloscope to the circuit and looked for signs of arcing and never found it. And yet the switch worked. Given a 50% failure rate (excluding QAF
