This is very thin packing tape and is unlikely to work if you are shipping heavy or bulky packages. However, they do an excellent job of covering the door frame if you want to keep bed bugs out. Bed bugs get stuck trying to walk on this tape. The tape is unevenly glued to the roll. You pull to pull out a small piece, and suddenly a long piece comes out. If you try again, it may move slightly or resist your move very much. I use it to plug holes in plastic bags to throw wet trash in. or the holes in the flimsy plastic bags I pull over my feet when the handymen spray bed bugs down the hallways and the bunch runs into my apartment, where I can't put plastic tape on the carpet under the door. They come right into the kitchen and bite my legs when I'm not carrying bags. I also use plastic bags on my legs when I go downstairs to get mail as I always pick up bed bugs on my shoes. BBs can't walk on plastic. Because these bags crack over time. I plug the tears with plastic tape. The tape is also great for labeling jars of chicken broth or homemade food. They can also survive washing, but not as much.
