Because the LEDs are on the outer edge, they don't have the problem of downward-facing LEDs like some threaded models. No cans means no rumble from people walking on the floors above and that means you can install it. almost everywhere. For example, this fixes an issue where the builder installed the lights off-center in the hallway due to plumbing and wiring. Only the lutron ELV dimmer versions reduce it to an almost inaudible point, but they're absurdly expensive. CRI is only 80+. While we haven't yet spotted any colors that don't appear right, it's disappointing that they don't have 90+ at the moment. The cable from the box to the light should be 6-12 inches longer for easier placement. It's great that extensions are available for additional placement options, but the standard length can cause some issues when placing new designs.
