Suggest a magnetized ring instead of "retaining ring "
I had a very hard time getting the "retaining ring" into the back of the camera. The friction fit ring was slightly oversized to fit the ring hole on the back of the camera. I had to cut the ring with pliers to remove part of the ring's surface. Overall, the mount works as advertised and intended.
