My only complaint is that I wish the price was under $10 (about $2.50 per ball sounds right). The product itself isn't anything special, but it works great. Lightweight, vinyl-coated foam. They're great for a million uses. They say from 3 years but I think they fit even younger if your kid is ready to really fall. etc). Well they are as light as can be, the only weight they have is vinyl. I would say if this is a concern for you then stick with plain styrofoam balls until you decide your child is ready. I really don't understand how they can cause physical harm when a child leaves them. Even if an adult throws them really hard, they can never break a window or cause a black eye or anything. At the same time, they aren't made by anything special - I've seen the same ones (but without the MBL logo) for about half the price.
