Review on Enhanced CMYK Dimmable Squirrel Incandescent Equivalent: The Ultimate Lighting Solution by Randall Kelley

Edison-inspired vintage lamps are eye-catching with an aura of nostalgia and the warmth of the old. Unfortunately, these LED versions of these CMYK branded bulbs do none of that. The main difference is the color temperature. You can see in my photo that the one on the left is much cooler than the real incandescent version (which I also bought here at Revain). Another notable difference is that the LED version is too bright and glaring. it's almost like a synthetic version of the original. artificial color versus natural. Third, the LED version of these lamps does not spread the light evenly across the bulb. Unlike the real version that fills the entire bulb with the warm glow you would expect from these types of lights. If they don't bother you, you'll love the fact that these are very bright and crisp bulbs. But if you're looking for a vintage look, go for real Edison bulbs. I tried to shoot almost simultaneously with the same settings and white balance.
