I can say this will hold up to multiple car washes and regular dousing.
Everyone at work envied me my car. I'm in law enforcement and we all drive our cars into parking spots. The Enterprise license plate always makes my car stand out from the crowd! While my private car might not have headlights or a siren, this license plate lets me proudly fly my geek flag and legally exceed a warp factor of 9. all at the same time! It is really well made and looks subtle and classy. I can say this holds up well to repeated car washes and regular salting over the winter months. I've been a Star Trek fan since I first saw the original series (yes, I'm THAT old!). This is one of the most beautiful Star Trek items I have ever purchased.
