My son uses the spirit level around the house as much or more than almost any other tool he owns and he needs something extremely durable but with added features on top of the basics. The length is great for a typical project, not too long if not convenient to carry or store. It's very handy to have a digital angle gauge for sloped projects, like when my son used it to accurately measure the slope of a garage floor. The display is very clear and the backlight is useful in some dimly lit areas that a project may need. Highly recommended!
