I love my VR setup and the first HTC Vive wireless adapter. Hiding the Think Black Cable I did as much research as I could and the best information I got was that it was an RP-SMA cable that was permanently connected on one end and people were having problems , even with 5 foot (1.5 m) cables. I thought 12 inches was way too long for me and the attenuation and signal issues are directly related to the length. I added one of the two packages and restarted my computer and so far everything is working. Nothing indicates problems. with a WiMax signal from the antenna to the card. If you only need a few centimeters for a perfect run, give it a try.
